10 (no 11) Self-Checks Women Should Do.

I just read the article.. 10 Self-Checks Women Should Do Every Morning | Healthy Living – Yahoo! Shine.

and found it to be helpful. (The comments are hilarious!)

They missed one important thing to check.. Our Breasts!!

(maybe you don’t have to check your breasts every morning?..but in that same vein do you have to check anything else EVERY morning either?)

ANYWAYS..

Women, especially young women, should do self-breast examinations as often as possible. I say young women, because your personal physician(s) usually don’t start you on mammograms til you are around 40. Check out this handy self-check guide from MetroHealth.org..download it and post it on your bathroom wall.

One tip: I was told to do self breast exams in between periods. Sometimes you might get lumps near your armpit areas that go away after your period.
